Compleo successfully completes takeover of innogy eMobility Solutions GmbH

Compleo Charging Solutions AG (“Compleo” or “Company”) announces the completion of the contract concluded at the end of October for the acquisition of 100% of the shares in innogy eMobility Solutions GmbH (“ieMS”). Compleo has thus initiated another successful step in the integration of ieMS and its software services for electromobility into the Compleo Group, which has already begun. This includes the takeover of the entire workforce and all customer relationships of ieMS as well as the subsidiary of ieMS in the United Kingdom. The consolidation as a 100% subsidiary will take place from January 1st, 2022.

As a result of the scheduled conclusion of the contract and the transfer of the cash shares, E.ON SE, as the original shareholder of ieMS, will also participate in Compleo by issuing new shares as part of a capital increase from authorized capital. To this end, Compleo’s share capital was increased by 200,000 shares; this amounts to EUR 5,069,785 after the capital increase.

After the takeover of wallbe GmbH (now Compleo Connect GmbH) in the first half of 2021, Compleo is successfully continuing its inorganic growth strategy and is setting the course for becoming the leading European full-service provider for charging technologies at the Dortmund location.

Georg Griesemann, CEO of Compleo Charging Solutions AG, states: “ieMS has one of the leading charging point management systems in Germany. In particular, the addition of software services for electromobility to our product portfolio represents the next evolutionary leap in our company’s history. The merger opens up immense long-term growth potential for us as a leading green tech company in the highly dynamic market for charging solutions in Europe.”
